 Yoga Mediation

Yoga Meditation is not related to feeling a particular way, or about getting somewhere mentally, or about just relaxation. Yoga Meditation is the practice of the mind. Although meditation is not a common practice, physicians, yogis and scientists have clearly concluded that meditation with yoga can play an important role in medical and mental healing and with reducing hypertension and mental stresses


Mediation basically relates to the ability of mind to pay attention to something, this makes mediation an important part of yoga, these are many techniques of doing mediation

The first step for mediation is doing the asana, which prepares the body for the second step of mediation i.e. pranayama or breathing practice. Pranayama helps with attention, and that sets the mood for meditation. The practice of asana and pranayama, make the way for the brain to focus and to meditate

Sitting still and stopping the mind from thinking takes lots of persistence and training. Most of us spend our days invaded by different thoughts. The mind is active and we use it in all the interpretation,  communication, inspection and talking. The mind hardly ever reposes or gets any relaxation. The main purpose of mediation is to give the mind rest and relaxation
